Success Intelligence Review
I just finished reading a book called Success Intelligence by Robert Holden and wanted to give a quick review over the book and just some take away points that I got from. The book itself covers a wide array of topics within the category of success. In terms for this review whenever I say success I will be referring to it in the sense of authentic success. So what is authentic success you ask? Well it is something that no one can define specifically for you except for yourself. One quote by Jamie Walters hits home for me. She says “Authentic success is woven from that which has real heart, joy, and meaning for us. It’s an expression of our deepest purpose “. Success Intelligence is designed to help you not only better understand authentic success, but also guide and assist you in finding your own. Here are some of the main points that really resonated with me. Read more…
Overcoming Workout Excuses Part 3
Welcome back to overcoming workout excuses part three of this series. In the last part I talked about how you should not let previous workout failure influence your decision to workout again. Between having to pay for gym memberships, equipment, or home workout programs money always seems to play some sort of role in why working out is just not possible. Well with that said I want to dig a little deeper into this topic with you and maybe give you a different perspective on why this really is just another workout excuse. Read more…

Words of Encouragement – Why We All Need Them!
Words of encouragement are always more than just words. They are pick me ups and fuel to a dying fire. They can be at the perfect moment and also the most unexpected moment. Bottom line is that we all need words of encouragement sometimes to keep on reaching for our hopes and dreams. Our initial motivation is pushed by desire for success and happiness, but what happens when it takes longer than you expect? What do you do when progress seems to have halted and you can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel anymore? Do you go back to the way things were floating from moment to moment on a whim? I certainly have had thoughts of doing this as of late and it is because of some words of encouragement from some friends that I have been pushed to continue on my path towards my hopes and dreams.
