My Insanity Results!

Insanity results are in! I can’t tell you how excited I am to be writing this post. For those of you who have been through a Beachbody workout or any other program that promises results after a certain number of days, this is the moment you can’t wait for! My 60 days of Insanity are over and my results are in! I already have an Insanity workout review before this post, so you can check out what I thought of the program there. Today is all about my Insanity results though and sharing what I accomplished through Insanity. With Insanity you have two ways to measure your results. Through then fit test and then obviously the way you look physically. So let’s see how everything went!
Insanity Results – My Physical Results!
Alright so to start off with for my Insanity results I want to talk a little more about my picture above. Now some of you out there are thinking right now that you don’t see this huge physical difference in me. I certainly leaned up and went from about 8% body fat to about 6% body fat (give or take). I also lost about 8 lbs on the scale and went from 192 lbs to about 184 lbs. Not much of a big difference to you right? Well let me explain why even though it may not be a huge transformation I am still super happy with my Insanity results.
1. My Natural Body Type Isn’t Bulky
What I mean by this is, in a lot of the other Insanity results pictures that you see have these big football looking players who are bulky to begin with and then cut a lot of weight and end up looking ripped after. That isn’t me, plain and simple. I am an average size person, so to be able to get lean and cut from an average frame is awesome in my eyes.
2. Where I Started From
The other thing you have to realize is that I started my Insanity journey right after I finished P90X (click here for my P90X Transformation). I was already in pretty decent shape and had toned up a lot from P90X. To be able to amplify my results from P90X and get even more lean and cut to me is a great feeling!

So you know the saying “It’s not what’s on the outside that counts, it’s what’s on the inside.”, well this could not have been anymore true then what I got for my Insanity results compared to the first week of taking my Insanity Fit Test.

* I will admit I didn’t improve on my low oblique planks. I was exhausted as you can imagine from all of that. I really gave it my all and wanted to push my Insanity results to the limit!
My Insanity Results – Final Statement
Insanity is a really intense program! All the hype about the program is well deserved. However if you are trying to put on muscle I would not recommend this program to you. It is all cardio and there are no weights involved to help you bulk up. Luckily there is a brand new program called Body Beast that is made just for muscle building.
If your wondering what my next plan of action is, then I won’t keep you waiting. I am looking to put on some muscle and want to try P90X2. I've tried the P90X, just never got in the habit of it. But with all the hype about Insanity I was tempted to try that, but, thanks to you, I think I'll stick with P90X cause my goal is more to build muscle, less to shed weight. Thanks Brett!

Man it was hard and to be honest I am glad it is over! I’m glad I stuck with it none the less. I am excited to hit the weights and start gaining some muscle! P90X2 coming up next!
